Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Appsaic, a brand of Implicit Marketing INC ("Appsaic," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use our iOS applications — including AnyChat, CalTrack (Calorie Tracker), Fastd (Fasting Tracker), and OnTrack (The Calorie Tracker) — and our website, appsaic.com (together, the "Services"). It applies to every app we publish unless that app ships with its own policy.

The short version: our apps work without accounts, your health logs live on your device, we never sell your personal information, and the data we do handle exists to make the apps work — not to build a profile of you.

Information We Collect

Information you provide

  • Contact information — your email address and anything you include when you write to us for support or feedback.
  • Project inquiries — when you request a quote or contact us about building an app, the name, email, optional phone number, company, and project details you submit. We use them to prepare your estimate, respond to you, and schedule any calls you book.
  • Content you create in our apps — for example, chat messages and images you submit in AnyChat, meal photos you scan in CalTrack or OnTrack, and the food, water, weight, and fasting entries you log. Unless a feature says otherwise, logs are stored locally on your device.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data — device model, iOS version, language, app version, feature interactions, and crash and performance diagnostics.
  • Advertising identifiers — in apps that show ads, our advertising partners may collect device identifiers (such as Apple's IDFA, only if you allow tracking) and coarse information like IP-derived general location. See "Advertising" below.
  • Website data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) and any cookies described in "Cookies" below.

Health and fitness data

CalTrack, Fastd, and OnTrack handle health-related information such as calorie intake, weight, fasting windows, water intake, and step counts. This data is stored on your device. Where an app integrates with Apple Health (HealthKit) — for example, OnTrack reading your steps and active energy — it does so only with your explicit permission, granted through iOS.

We do not use HealthKit data, or any health and fitness data, for advertising or marketing, and we never share it with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties for their own purposes.

AI Features

Some features are powered by third-party artificial-intelligence providers. When you use them, the content you submit is sent to the relevant provider to generate a response:

  • AnyChat routes your messages, voice transcriptions, scanned documents, and uploaded images to the AI model you select (providers include OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and xAI).
  • CalTrack and OnTrack may send meal photos to an AI service to estimate the food and nutrition they contain.

Our website's instant-estimate tool also uses AI: the project details you describe (but not your contact details) are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate your quote. Instant estimates are automated ballparks, not formal offers.

These providers process content under their own privacy terms, and we use commercial API configurations that do not permit your content to be used to train their models where such options are available. Even so, please don't submit passwords, financial details, government IDs, or other sensitive personal information to AI features. AI outputs are generated automatically and may be inaccurate — see our Terms of Service.

Advertising

Some of our apps display advertising through Google AdMob (you can verify our authorized ad sellers in our app-ads.txt file). Ad partners may collect device identifiers and usage signals to serve, cap, and measure ads. Whether ads are personalized depends on your choices:

  • On iOS, apps may show you Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track," the app cannot access your IDFA and you will receive non-personalized (contextual) ads instead.
  • You can review or change this anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • Google explains its ad data practices at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Health and fitness data is never used for ad targeting, and apps whose core purpose is health tracking do not share health logs with ad networks.

How We Use Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve our apps and website
  • To generate AI responses and food-recognition results you request
  • To respond to your support requests and feedback
  • To diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and understand which features matter
  • To display and measure advertising in ad-supported apps
  • To detect fraud or abuse and keep the Services secure
  • To comply with legal obligations

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only:

  • With service providers who process it on our behalf — AI providers (as described above), form-delivery and email services for website inquiries, scheduling providers (such as Calendly) when you book a call with us, advertising and analytics partners, crash-reporting services, and hosting infrastructure — under agreements that limit their use of your data.
  • With Apple, which processes all purchases and subscriptions; we never see your full payment details.
  • For legal reasons, if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users, the public, or Appsaic.
  • In a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your data.
  • With your consent, for anything else.

Note for California residents: some jurisdictions treat the transmission of advertising identifiers to ad networks as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out of this at any time by declining the App Tracking Transparency prompt or contacting us at support@appsaic.com.

Cookies

Our website uses only essential cookies and similar technologies needed for the site to function and for basic, aggregate analytics. You can block cookies in your browser settings without losing access to any part of the site.

Data Retention

Content stored on your device (health logs, fasting history, local chat history) stays there until you delete it or remove the app. Support emails are retained as long as needed to help you and for our records. Diagnostic and analytics data is retained in aggregate or short-lived form. When we no longer need personal data, we delete or anonymize it.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data as if it were our own.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your personal data
  • Receive your data in a portable format
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • Opt out of targeted advertising (see "Advertising" above)
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

Because most app data lives on your device, the fastest way to delete it is usually to delete it in the app or remove the app entirely. For anything else, email support@appsaic.com and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority; our legal bases for processing are performance of a contract (providing the apps), our legitimate interests (improving and securing the Services, showing contextual ads), and your consent (tracking for personalized ads, HealthKit access).

International Transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process data there and in other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses for transfers out of the EEA, UK, and Switzerland.

Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the higher age some jurisdictions require). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at support@appsaic.com and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our apps or the law change. We will post the new version here and update the effective date above; for material changes we will provide more prominent notice in the relevant app or on this site. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means the updated policy applies.
